EATON M90 3.8 Super Coupe to 2002 4.0 Ranger kit (Supercharger Not Included)

This kit contains everything needed to install your (M90 Eaton Supercharger) to a 2002 Ford Ranger 4.0 SOHC. This kit may be used on other S.O.H.C. models, but clearances should be verified (prior) to purchase.

MANIFOLD for a Ford Ranger S.O.H.C. 4.0L engine w/Bypass Port

This "MANIFOLD" will adapt the "Eaton M90 3rd generation 3.8 Super Coupe Supercharger to the Ford 4.0L SOHC

1- 1/8"NPT for "pressure/vacuum gauge", 1- 1/8" NPT (extra) "may be used for temperature sensor or other", 1- 3/8" NPT for "relocated IAT sensor if desired"

All parts, fittings, instructions, are included for a complete assembly of the stated vehicle.

INTAKE PLENUM - Connects Eaton M90 3.8 Thunderbird Supercoupe supercharger "inlet" to the stock Ford "Throttle Body" and "Spacer Adapter"

SPACER ADAPTER - Drilled and taped for IAC and PCV intake fitting

(Included in Kit)

EGR TUBE - To connect EGR valve from the original location to the relocated location

(Included in Kit)

THROTTLE CABLE MOUNT - Mounting plate to support throttle and cruise control cables (this is included with the spacer) - Picture indicates how factory mount is to be used

BYPASS VALVE - Allows the Supercharger to become extremely efficient in terms of economy and parasitic power loss.

M90 Supercharger uses less than 1/3 of 1-HP @ 60 MPH cruising. The bypass is operated by a vacuum actuator control unit that is normally (closed). When vacuum is high (idle-cruising) the actuator opens the bypass valve, equalizing the vacuum pressure throughout the system. When boost is required (acceleration), the vacuum is decreased and the bypass valve instantly closes, causing pressure to increase in to the cylinders. (This By-pass is included with the intake plenum)
